Deering Goodtime 2 - Resonator Banjo

---

The Deering Goodtime 2 Banjo is an American-made instrument designed to provide the tone and playability of a professional banjo at an affordable price. Handcrafted in the Deering workshop using the same techniques and tooling as their top-of-the-line models, the Goodtime 2 features a maple neck and resonator and a birch and maple rim to produce a bright, punchy tone suited for bluegrass and other styles. The slender neck and geared tuners make this banjo easy to play and keep in tune.

Though affordably priced, the Goodtime 2 is built to professional standards with high-quality, domestic hardwoods. The maple neck and resonator provide a crisp tone with clear note definition, while the birch and maple rim adds warmth and resonance. Together they create a balanced sound with plenty of projection suitable for live performance or recording. The geared tuners and slim neck also allow for precise intonation and effortless playability.

Weighing only 6 pounds, the Goodtime 2 is lightweight enough for beginners and children to handle comfortably yet durable enough for lifelong use. Its quality construction and materials mean it can stand up to regular practice and performance without issue. An excellent choice for aspiring bluegrass pickers, the Goodtime 2 plays so well that many professionals also rely on it as a go-to banjo. Whether you're just learning, or have years of experience, the Goodtime 2 provides an inspiring playing experience.
