New Resonator Banjos

New Banjos in our inventory. Check 'em out! If you see something that you are interested in, call or e-mail us for pricing. We may be able to make you a deal that will be tough to beat!

The new Nechville TH Custom Phantom

This beautiful banjo has abalone inlays, Nechville’s new hybrid tone ring, quilted mahogany resonator, and maple binding. It is only available through Turtle Hill Banjo Co. Options include type of tone ring (regular, wood, or hybrid), quilted maple instead of quilted mahogany, and regular black binding instead of maple. Click here for pictures

Deering Artisan Goodtime Special

This new model  has a maple fingerboard with pearloid inlays, maple rim, and Deering's new steel tone ring. Great sound, and a neat looking banjo! Click here for pictures

Deering Eagle II

This new Deering model has a newly designed brass tone ring, a maple neck and resonator with a dark red mahogany stain and glossy finish, fancy inlays, and bracket and shoe construction. This is a very impressive banjo for the price! Click here for pictures

Deering Sierra, Mahogany

Deering Sierra, Mahogany. Deering is behind on production, and this is the first mahogany Sierra we've had for quite a while. Actually, we just received two of them. I imagine they won't last long, so, if you've been looking for one, don't wait too long. These have the new inlay design, and I think it is a great improvement over the previous Sierra banjo from a visual viewpoint. It has the same tone ring, flange, rim, etc. as many of the the more expensive Deering models. Click here for pictures

Deering Terry Baucom Model

This model features a combination of a lighter weight tone ring and Deering’s new red maple rim, giving the banjo great tone and excellent volume. The neck and resonator are made of straight grained walnut. Congratulations Deering; we’re very impressed! Click here for pictures

Nechville Comet Electric Banjo

This neat and incredibly light weight electric banjo has a solid body with two hot rails pickups, and a radiused fingerboard. It's perfect for plugging right into a headphone amp or device for practice, and is as feedback resistant as an electric guitar. Like all Nechville banjos, the Comet is made in America.

Nechville Phantom with Heart Blossom inlay

We ordered this banjo with heart blossom inlay, quited mahogany resonator, and Nechville's new hybrid tone ring. It looks as good as it sounds!

Nechville One of a kind Custom

This spectacular instrument is a wonderful example of the custom work the craftsmen at Nechville are capable of doing. Made of curly maple, it has a holly and vine inlay on the peghead and fingerboard, with red berries at the normal inlay positions. Maple and multi-color Christmas tree binding adorns the neck and resonator. Other options include bound peghead, EVO frets, Corona frame, and a 40-hole flathead tone ring. And yes, it does sound as good as it looks. Click here for pictures

Nechville Turtle Hill Custom Phantom in maple

SOLD, BUT WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE ON ORDER!

The new TH Custom Nechville Phantom banjo has been very popular, and this will be the first unsold one we've actually had in the shop.  It has abalone inlays, Nechville’s new hybrid tone ring, maple binding, and a stunning quilted maple resonator.    Click here for pictures

Nechville Phantom in Walnut

This Phantom has a beautiful burl walnut resonator, Galaxy inlay, radiused fingerboard, and tunneled 5th string. Click here for pictures

Nechville Galaxy Phantom; quilted Mahogany

20-hole flathead ring. Mahogany, with a stunning quilted mahogany resonator. Like all Phantoms, it has a tunneled  5th string and radiused fingerboard, making it a dream to play! Click here for pictures

Nechville Galaxy Phantom in Maple

This is one of my favorite banjos, and you only need to play one to find out why. It has the optional Galaxy inlay, radiused fingerboard, and tunneled fifth string. It also has Nechville's new hybrid tone ring. Click here for pictures

Nechville Phantom

SOLD, but I have another one on order, and also one in quilted mahogany. A deposit will hold it, or any banjo.

I custom ordered this with a maple resonator, offset stars inlay, and Nechville's new Hybrid tone ring. You won't believe how good this banjo sounds, and it weighs less than eight pounds! Click here for pictures

Ome Odyssey

Maple with nickel hardware. HG-50 flathead tone ring. Amber tuner buttons. This is a beautiful banjo, and it sounds as good as it looks! Of course it was built with Ome's always-outstanding quality. Click here for pictures
