The Wildwood Paragon 5-string banjo was a high end instrument, introduced in the mid 1970s and produced on order until the builder Mark Platin retired in 2018.
This example likely dates to 1988, with a Walnut neck and resonator. Given its age, it was built at Arcata, California; Wildwood moved to Bend, Oregon around 2007. 20 hole tone ring, 1 piece flange, block rim; a great playing and sounding bluegrass instrument!
This fine instrument is in overall good condition and has recently been set up!
Sold with original hard shell case, warranty card, and original receipt; one owner.
